Tiff, There is so much info that she could give us that would benifit many many gliders without possibly jeopardizeing some. We only have ideas for solutions nothing actually concrete, That is why we all should work together,. The need for The medicines itself and the dosages Is what scared me the most. You take a chance of not only some trying to diagnoise their own glider but also some wanting to help others by diagnoseing others. I believe Heather also has the gliders best interest in mind, I feel that we can conme up with something that will work..Is there a happy medium? I sure hope so. We need the info that Heather has to offer. The glider society in a whole does. The vets do. So is it possible to have Very detailed info for the vets available? as well as protection from possible problems. There has been so many deaths this past month, everyone is concerned as to what is really best for their glider. Concerns as to the Cause, could it be their diet? cold temps? broken bones? abuse, neglect, illness, birth defects? There are so many possibilities. We need help, Tiff, we need not only medical diagnosis put out but also ways to prevent the deaths. Ways that Heather will be a HUGE help in. Symptoms? what to wwatch for? How much time is the window of finding the glider to the time to get it to a vet, how long should we wait? when is it time to call the vet? She can be very valuable to every glider and owner as well as the uneducated vets, I am just so afraid of the fine details that may mean the difference between life and death..someone emailed me about their daughter going to the library and reading a book about depression, only to have that child try to convince her folks that she had been depressed for over a year. I used this to show it does and will happen, you know it I know it. The question is... what can we come up with that would safe for all at least safer? and still get the info to where it needs to be available. We all can work together to find a solution.. I know we can.. we are all pretty intellegent and have resources that we haven't even thought about yet.. Now my question to everyone is???? Any Suggestions...????
