Exactly - STATE is not the issue - different locales and cities have different rules - and I've looked into it extensively and haven't found a county or city that HASN'T banned them. The problem is - they don't know what a Sugar Glider is - but it is listed under MARSUPIAL and Marsupials are banned in most places in the U.S. and Canada.

: if there are people out there that aren't sure about the legality of sugar gliders..burbon has a web site where she has posted letters from most states stating the legality in each state.....it is posted on this page somewhere, unfortunately i don't have the link......also check with your local game and fish department......from what i read on this board, and through some research of my own...i've only found 3 states that sugar gliders are NOT legal.....this doesn't count the town, county or village laws....hope this helps.
