I'm so sorry. I did not mean to imply that you have no tried everything. I am sure you have racked your brain. The cat idea may not work. It was just a thought. I have a dog that can sniff better than any I have seen. I thought maybe a cat would "hunt" for the glider. If you do attempt this make sure the cat is on a leash! WOW!
Maybe you could play the glider sounds (available from the internet) on you stereo in repeat?? It has probably been too long . . . sigh.
