Now it leaks. I took the refrigerator out twice and unscrewed the back panel off. I have pulled out the stove 3 times including the burners. NO BICHO! I have gone crazy looking for him. For the slight chance that somehow, through the pipes or something, he got out, I even take walks around the apartment outside at night looking in the trees. That I can see, there is only one hole in the wall that he could have gone through and it is in a closed cabinet. I don't see how he could have gotten in there. Of course, I did not build the apartment, so who knows what kind of flaws there are that I cannot see. I will have to try your cat idea. Unfortunately, none of my friends own a cat, so I'll have to ask around. Thanks for the suggestions! : : Does anyone have any tips on keeping them from getting up into the refrigerator and stove? I have towels and foam rubber stuffed under the doors and dishwasher. I just don't know what else to do.
: I am confused here. If you think he got up into the stove or frig why haven't you torn them apart? Did you take all the cushions off the furniture? Look through shoes in the closet? Look in the VCR flap? : Can you borrow a neighbors cat,put it on a leash, and walk it through the apartment? Maybe it will find a trail to follow? : If you tried all of this with no luck then we must think of other places. It may be too late to save him, but it may not. Do you have a panel for an attic crawlspace?
