if you do a search, you should find a TON of write ups about bonding. to start you need lots of patience, some glider bond fast, some very slow and I have rescued a few that never get 100% comfortable with humans. The gliders need time. time to get used to the idea that the HUGE human coming after them is a friend and NOT looking for dinner. Time counted in months! not days. Gliders are scent driven. so your scent is very important to them or any scent is very important to them that is on you. So a glider may continue to crab in the pouch because it can't see you or smell you, some every time you create a disturbance. Some never quite crabbing. If you still would like some suggestions, just add to the post. |
