Okay there's so much contradiction in feeding gliders. This is what I do any ideas how to improve dinnertime is much appreciated.
They always have the sun seed glider hard pellets (rarely eaten)
They get a puree of kale collards orange juice honey agave nectar sweet potato carrots and egg and some calcium. This is strained so just the juice remains. I use the fibers for dog treats cooked with egg.
They also get a mixed berry purree also strained. They get mealies phoenix worms and crickets rotated each day. The male loves his pinkies the female won't touch pinkies.
I also give them some instant hpw.although I don't want to continue as in canada 3 month supply is 90 bucks after shipping and exchange.
They get egg twice a week as well. I alternate veggies depending on season and what's available at the market.
They get mango apple yogurt as well and many things that are said to be safe from multiple sources.

sounds like their food options are 10 times better then what they probably would get in the wild.

I don't know if this diet is on any "approved" list.
If your looking for cheaper then instant hpw. We did up some ohpw using the original wamboroo power. (the diet our two new girls are on.) At $50 for a 1 kg box, that would make up 16 containers of replacement nectar, plus the cost of raw honey. Its definitely cheaper then instant.
