OK - so when I posted this I was very new to sugar gliders - actually an idiot... Postings of photo's here saying 'Starling' (female) are actually of Aerrow (male) Postings of photo's here saying 'Aerrow' (male) are actually of Starling (female) Posting of Piper are correct - that's mama suggie! Aerrow looked smaller so I assumed it was the baby girl, Starling - but there's no pouch, just a bare spot where the testicles were. Looking close at who I thought was Aerrow, but really Starling (the largest looking so assume male) shows a pouch - OUCH! Boy did I screw up... Aerrow probably resented my calling him 'baby girl'! It's a wonder he never got an attitude, eh? Worried now (2023) about Starling - she looks 'fat', but only weighs 155g still - same as 4 years ago. Aerrow passed on from old age (see posting elsewhere) - looked smaller but weighed 165g (male dense muscles?), but much lighter as he got real old (probably close to 10 or more years old) as he ate less and had issues 'chewing' (probably missing or abscessed teeth?). Starling is not lazy or lethargic - she runs that wodent wheel like it's gonna buy her dinner! She likes to climb and is very strong (stubborn, too). Just got Radarr, a 4 year old neutered white faced male with diastema lower incisors, to replace my Aerrow who has glided over to God. Bonding well with the girls - more on him as time goes by.
