My male, Howl, seems to have a plastic obsession. He will chew and rip at any plastic or nylon-ish anything that is in the cage. He's tried to rip apart the bonding pouch, he's trying to chew up the zip ties that hold the wheel to the cage, he's trying to pull the fluff off the pompoms and chew up the plastic container they're in. I'm mainly concerned that he could hurt his mouth or teeth, especially on the zip ties. I don't know what I should do. Is this normal? Do they go through a teething phase? What do you recommend?

I've been hard PSSTing at hm when I notice he does it, and he's stopped, but he's pushing the bill with it and I don't catch it all time. Should I continue to keep on his case about it?

Ok, giving an update now: He is chewing up the plastic straws on one of the toys. it looks like he's eaten it, but I can't really tell with how warped it is.
