How do those of you with cats house your gliders? It's been recommended to me to have his cage out in the living room with the family so he can bond with everyone but I have cats and I don't want to give him a heart attack. Help?

I would not recommend ever leaving your cat and glider together alone.
You can start my putting the cage in the cat's area. If he responds with any aggression then remove the suggie right away.
If your cat is positive with the glider then start taking the glider out in a puch so the cat can smell it.
