So I am a new sugar glider owner. Just got my little Ollie three days ago. I bought him some cat toys today and let him play with them. I then researched more toys for him and learned that catnip was very toxic to sugar gliders and the toys I bought him had catnip in them. So I immediately took the toys away minus the plastic balls. He seems fine right now, but I am freaking out. I just got him, im new to all of this. I really don't want him to die. What should I look for to make sure he is okay?! How long does it take for the effect of catnip to kick in? I'm not even sure if he got any of the catnip in the toys yet because he only had them for about an hour but I am still freaking out. Someone please help me!!

Aww I hope he is okay. I would reccomend running him to an exotic vet. They will be able to much better assist you. Also, no one on her can fully examine your glider even if they know a lot about it, and considering you just got him, you may not notice any behavior changes.
Good luck:)
