I found that keeping my phone on vibrate works well. I realize this may not be a good fit for everyone but it works for me. My gliders are usually chilling in my bra or breast pocket or in my hood so I keep my phone in my back pocket or tucked into my boot.
It's also having it be normalized. It was unintentional (and I think pavloved) but when my phone rings it gives me anxiety and I usually relax by getting myself a treat (yogurt or applesauce in a squeeze pouch, yes I realize that's weird) and when I crack it open,my glider will pop her head out and get an offering for disturbing her. Now when she hears the ring she will come out and wait for the treat and I will chill with her while talking on the phone till it's over then we get a snack together. Idk if that answers your question but that's what's happened with me.
Just FYI, my phone won't ring unless it's work or family and it's a trigger from my youth that a ringing phone means that something bad is coming so I only have it ring in emergencies. Otherwise it's on vibrate.
