So I’m kind of new to the BML diet I know it’s one of the most common diets but I have a question on the recipe it says to use plain yogurt & mixed fruit juice if the baby yogurt juice mix isn’t available (I feel like they don’t even sell that bottle anymore) but Iv been searching online about this recipe & it says that you shouldn’t feed your sugar glider dairy. So I’m not sure what exactly to do lol oh & another thing it also says you have to use specific fruits & veggies. Well they say also not to feed them things that are high in oxalates & carrots are one of them…. But it’s also part of the veggie list to feed them. Soooooo am I allowed to use them? Am I not? I’m so lost helppppppp please #129402; idk if it matters that my sugar glider is 4 months old(His name is Zaazu) am I allowed to use this diet? His drs appointment is next week so this is all I know to feed him till then
Dairy is okay for sugar gliders. Milk, cheese, ice cream isn't. Just like it is easier for lactose-intolerant people to eat yogurt than other dairy. Carrots are okay, too as long as it isn't the only thing you're feeding them. BML is a great diet.
Okay thank you this made me feel soooo much better & thank you for replying to my other posts Iv been so lost trying to make sure he eats the best. He’s picky tho he doesn’t like eating carrots or the peas. So I think I might have to blend them up for him. He has no problem eat the fruits #129315;
