Hello I have a breeding pair of sugars and my female has recently gotten pregnant
The last day or two I have heard multiple times during the day them telling each other off and fighting then at night the male chasing the female. This last night they were not getting up to eat and I found that the male was sitting on the females back and not letting go. Each time I would shoot him off he would get back on again. My female does not seem to like this either and tried to get him off but can't. I have had to resort to splitting them as I don't want my female stressing and also they need to eat. Any ideas on what is happening I cant find any info anywhere, and I want them back together again they have been together for over a year and I've never seen this.
