Hello!
I have a male sugar glider OOP and a female sugar glider OOP 10/24/22. They have been together and are wonderful with each other. However, I am worried because I think I saw them in the mating position. No sounds were being made and she did not seem distressed in any way. Do I need to separate them immediately? I do intend to bread them but I had to obtain them rather quickly. I have tried to do as much research as I can but I am always trying to learn more and have read so many different opinions on the matter. Someone had said they bread earlier etc. I got myself confused and just want to make sure I keep them safe. I thought the male wouldn't be sexually mature until 12-15 months. They are both still well under a year old so I wasn't sure of that would be an issue. Please help me get back on the right track! Please be kind I get overwhelmed and overthink and am still a relatively new parent. I have had sugar gliders prior to these but they were male this is my first time having a female and first time having such young babies. Thank you in advance!

Hey I have an intact male and female together but I was told they were both males when I got them they are only 8 months old and I had planned on fixing them when they were 12 months but I found out one of my gliders was female too late and she has two baby’s in her pouch so it’s very possible for them to be mating I’m new to the platform but i would say if she isn’t already pregnant and you don’t want babies yet separate them for now
