Ok, it was gross, but we did it. Well, I chickened out and my hubby put the cricket in. Well I was screaming and carrying on cause I thought it was gonna escape from the cage. The sugar gliders just stared at it, they'd never seen one before. My hubby had to capture it and hold it up to the gliders for like 5 minutes before a paw scooped it up and CHOMP. Disgusting. The mealworms were easy, I served them up on a big spoon. Egad. The rest are in my fridge - how gross is that. So all you experts out there - how often should I serve up these disgusting bugs? Is it daily? weekly? monthly? They are on a regular diet of leadbeaters and fresh fruits and veggies. Thanks for any help...thoroughly grossed out in Ontario....
