I want to make feeding my gliders easier and worry free. I worry about the protein calcium and vitamin ratio etc and how much to feed them. I am considering a bml diet, what about dried food? My guys are not picky at all, lucky for me. Can gliders over eat? My guys are always eating and I never know how much is too much?

BML was not designed for a long term diet and is very high in Iron content prolonged use could lead to kidney and liver failure. You still have to balance your phosphorus to calcium ratios.

No diet is easy all of them take time to make sure you are giving the best for your gliders. Dried food like a small amount of high quailty cat or dog food is ok but only one or two pieces. Sugar Gliders suck out all the moisture out of their foods so you need to limited any of these dry foods to there diets. You will find that most gliders don't drink alot of water but gain what they need from the food they eat.

Jett told me that the diet my vet feeds and recommends is pretty good. You can check it out here. Its what the cleveland and akron (OHio) zoos feed their insectivores

About the BML- many vets will actually tell you about some of the dangers. If you go up to the top of this page and go to the resources and the nutrition you can actually see how large the amounts of iron are. Also the BML has waaay too much sugar i it which can rot out glider teeth and I wouldn't be shocked if we saw gliders in the future with diabetes or other similar disorders. I know that many people get a modified BML from their vet that contains a whole lot less sugar.
