It was quite amazing watching their little ears twist and turn towards the direction the crickets were in , and then pounce, annihilated within seconds.

I got a mesh laundry basket at the store, a zipper, and a piece of fleece, then sewed it all together.

What a great idea! I want to give mine some crickets, but I am so afraid of one getting loose and running around the house. (Of course I am probally just nervous the suggies probally wont let them get away) I wish I was handy enough to make something like that.

You could look into get one of those butterfly mesh hampers, like this one:

That is a great idea! I've been using old Mr.Coffee coffee pots, but I like this even better!

Haha that's so awesome! I took a couple live crickets out in the tent with my baby for the first time and she didn't really know what to think at first. (she usually eats the canned ones) One jumped right on her... and she jumped right onto my face!! :) so precious. It scared the crap out of her. But she got her revenge. Vicious!

wow.. that is a great idea for traveling too. and here i was hauling around this huge cage when i wanted to spend a day with my dad... duh

this is an awesome idea and i now have to go buy myself a pop up hamper! lol

i'm jealous i dont have one of these! However i have time. My little boy and girl are not into the bugs yet. I'm assuming this is because they are still only 7 and 8 weeks oop?? i've tried live and canned...they just turn their heads away.
