So I've been trying to find Bailey a cagemate for awhile now with what seems to be luck but turns out to be people not getting back to me. If anyone knows of anyone around CT, NH, NJ, or NY, or any other surrounding areas with a glider they need to rehome I'd appreciate all the help I can get. I search daily numerous times for ads and check my e-mail almost every 5 minutes. ha. I'm getting desperate. I'm short on cash, so I'm hoping for a miracle!

Thank you everyone!
I would have posted this in the classifieds, but I don't think too many people check them unless they're actually looking for a glider. >.<

This is an ad that was in the Buffalo, NY craigslist, someone looking to rehome a single glider cause she's going away to college. Good luck

Have you tried going to GC and seeing what's in the classifieds there?

You'll find one that's meant to be. Try not to get too frustrated. It just means the right one hasn't come along yet.

I Understand Completely.! I just went through the same trouble of needing a cagemate. It took what seemed like FOREVER! there were so many ads in the classifieds, and so many emails to go through and then seeing what my budget was, to see if i could afford them. AND then there was the different ages and trying to guess the size difference if they didnt have a photo, and wondering how healthy they were. I got a decent deal.
I got:
A smallish cage, some paint coming off
the glider itself
and 2 different kinds of pouches.
All for 25 dollars.. your deal will come... I posted MULTIPLE ads on the same place. i waited a week or so.. and posted again..

Now i have my second glider Tinker Bell.
And i have to say ive already fallen in love with her.

This is true your deal WILL come.

I had to wait 2 years to get one because my parents didn't want me to have one and as soon as i got my own place i started looking.

I got:
Joey
his cage
his bowls
travel bag
about 12 assorments of pouches
extra fabric for new blankets
about 15 toys
food
treats
all for $200 but he is lonely to so i am also looking for another one cheaply, cuz i just spent 200 for him but dont want him to be lonely either

Yeah, I was out of a job for months so until I start my new job I only have like 35 bucks to my name. I thought I was getting lucky with a free boy/cage & accessories but its been acouple days since I've heard from her, I'm really hoping she just got busy. :crosses fingers:
Thank you all for the high hopes.
I won't stop searching until I find mr. or ms. right :p

I just received an email from someone who posted on craigslist who has 3 (2 males and a female) who originally was asking $500 for the 3 with the cage set up. He just sent me an email that he's looking for $100 for the 3 without the cage, or 300 with the cage set up. Not sure if you're looking for that many cage mates or but, but just thought I'd let you know if you might be interested. I can forward his info if you'd like.

Thatd be great! thank you so much. I'm not sure how 3 boys will be around one female, but maybe it will work.

I was just talking to this woman in the NY area about her glider that is looking to be rehomed, but I just found a joey and would prefer that. However here is her email jadiclerico <jadiclerico@verizon.net> She has one female under a year old and is asking $125.

You definitely shouldn't have 3 males with one female. They'll fight for mating rights, neutered or not. She could get hurt.

I completely agree Kylah. I was worried about 2 males and one female, 3 would be even worse. Rae, I'm talking to the same person haha. :) If Pam doesn't get back to me within the next week I'm probably going to go with her girl.

I have someone who is still on for the adoption of a joey, but I really don't want to keep her alone for so long. So I'm most likely straying away from that option.
