It's not. If you look through her photos, that's really how she slept.

I was just curious about this. How is it that it's not the same when it prevents the membrane from expanding just as a harness does? It may be fit to them, but that wasn't the issue. The issue was that it damages the membrane if they attempt to glide. I'm just trying to clarify this because it's a bit conflicting to me. =/


As for the glider sleeping on it's back, I've seen it common for the gliders over in thailand. lol There were a couple of videos I posted awhile back of glider that are located in Thailand. The fat one always seemed to be sleeping on her back in the videos.

Probably heat related. I dont believe this girl had HVAC so the glider probably got rather hot some days. By splaying out and also being tummy up she could cool herself better.

I was referring to one of these leashes:

I could see these causing more damage than a thin piece of cloth over their entire membrane.

I'm sure she loved her glider and didn't mean her any harm but I think the glider looks extremely uncomfortable. I think it's absolutely horrible when an animal's comfort/happiness is compromised for no other purpose but to enterain humans. Call me judgemental if you want....that's just my opinion.

Bailey somewhat sleeps on his back, but its more of a ball up type position. He huddles hit feet and hands together...doesnt lie flat out haha. & BOY what a chubby baby! The clothing is adorable but I'd never be forgiven if I even attempted this...hahaha.
