I have one word to describe your gliders when looking at their room...SPOILED! Are you leaving the lamp? And I can guarantee at least one glider will sleep in the monkeys mouth in the day. Too cute! I'm jealous. If I were a suggie, I'd go nuts in there. Are the long strips of pink and blue fleece?

Hey Heather... let me first off say... You are my Yoda ! What an awesome room. We have a room dedicated to our Suggie's also, but nothing like yours. What a great inspiration you are and you have given us soooo many cool ideas. You have some very lucky and loved Suggies !

It took about 2 days now its just adding more and more toys :) BUUUUTTTTT I'm wondering what I could do with the roof the fiance says im not aloud to touch the roof but...... we will see!!! I have extra stuff for the walls so im thinking if i put that up there I would be able to hang sooooo many more toys lol in total though in the last 3 weeks I've spent over a grand on gliders and supplies. petco and petsmart have been my new home oh and lets not forget home depot! lol!! I still haven't been up late enough to watch them play because they get up so late but im thinking I might tonight!! Are they sleeping so much now because they are younger do they wake up earlier when they are older??

What time do they wake up? It depends on your schedule as well I'm lucky chip wakes up very early he gets up at 6 to eat dinner and then starts to play at 11 or whatever time I walk into my room ready for bed. When he was 12 weeks he didn't get up till like three am played and went to sleep took little cat naps lol. But yeah I think with time they will come out earlier but so far I've heard chip is an exception bc he wakes up early

I had my single one in my room before she got a friend and her own room and im thinking she would get up around midnight eat and groom nap again then play from 3-5 or 6 but not i really dont know. I also keep them out with me usually all day every day in my shirt or in a pouch. So I'm thinking that might have something to do with it. But I was told to bond with them as much as possible for the first month to always keep them with me so thats what im trying to do.

Are they sleeping with u during the day bc they might just be sitting there awake. And that leaves them pretty tired at night. I know that they will adapt to your schedule and that bonding is very important maybe try limiting the amount of time they spend out with u instead of all day try an hour I heard that during the day it should only be an hour. Make sure they have fruit of something that will give them a source of water with u bc they will eventually get dehydrated if I'm wrong someone correct me but they are nocturnal so they shouldn't be out more than and hour to two at the most during the day. When chip is out with me During the day he's asleep the entire time which is fine the most I've had him out was three hours bc on the way home from the vet I Got an emergency call and couldn't drop him home first.

Looks great! Spoiled gliders!

I suggest getting them two TGI wheels so they can really exercise. One for the cage and one for the room. The wheels you have are way too small for a glider.

http://www.glidernursery.webs.com/wheels.htm

and I agree with suggimamma.

Otherwise I wish my gliders had this luxury.

Soooooo cool! I LOVE the monkey thing!!!

I did want to mention something about the floor because Gizmo jumped off of my shower curtain bar once onto the bathroom floor and it made his nail bleed. It may not ever be a problem but I'd rather mention it to you then not and hear later that one of your gliders got hurt jumping from the wall to the floor. Just something to think about....

For the roof you could use denim and thumb tacks

Awesome room. My only suggestions are to ditch the wheel on the windowsill. It could fall off while they are running in it and injure one or both of them. Also the silent spinner wheel in the cage is dangerous. It has little openings where the two parts connect where a glider could easily get it's nails or toes caught or worse. Also, the bearing on the back of the wheel can get tails caught and wrapped around it. I suggest getting a Stealth, TGI, or Custom Cruiser wheel for them and tossing the wheels you currently have. You also have a lamp in their room. Is there any protection covering the socket and cord? Gliders will chew on things and any wires pose a risk. I would just purchase a night light you can plug in when you are in the room to play with them, that way you can take it with you when you leave the room to eliminate danger. You should have some sort of grate over the tray with the Carefresh bedding to keep them from having contact with their own feces.

That gives me a great idea for making my room. The mesh stuff.. great idea. I never would have thought of using mesh. The room I'll have looks to be about half the size of the room you are using maybe less. Awesome job.

I agree with Carl, especially since Penelope has a joey in pouch now. The room looks great, but you shouldn't let them roam freely anymore.
