<br />I'd really love more info on who he came from.. That's really close to me and the only breeder I know of in St Pete is Suncoast..

But again, he's either 'retired' and they're a breeder or he's a rescue and should've A: been neutered and B: Never bred.. There usually isn't any confusing the two as most don't do BOTH.

Still curious. ):

fiance thought it could of been Suncoast, but I emailed Lisa. They adopt out joeys, and any male rescue that comes in is neutered right away. Also no one in the office thankfully does not have cancer. I have done a ton of google searches trying to find a rescue in St. Petes or Clearwater, and Suncoast is the only thing that pops up. So at this point we really don't know, and that's a shame because I would like to let the lady know that there was a mistake made. We enjoy our boy very much so, and are glad that we got him but it could happen to someone and they not catch the mistake and turn up with unwanted joeys.

Yeah, they are cute, but all gliders are cute! I'd love to have a leuistic, but that will never happen. I'd rather adopt an unwanted glider, and I don't many people will have leuistics out there for adoption, and if they do they are going to want a pretty penny for it. Even if it is an older glider. We are very blessed with the gliders we have. Our one little girl was abused before we got her, and has some behavioral problems, but she made significant changes within a few months of having her, and introducing her to our colony. She still randomly bites, but it isn't all the time now. Nor does she act aggressive towards us. We have been trying to work with her. I've even researched tons of things on behavioral problems and emailed a few experts on what we can do, but she still continues to randomly bite. I think we will just have to shower her with love, affection, and treats and except her as the bitchy glider.

If you want a cinni like the OP's, just let your glider get stained.

Since you have no real concrete history on him you can't be sure he is a cinnamon. I would at least keep an open mind to him being a standard gray with staining. That wouldn't make it in any way your fault. I would try doing the pouch swapping every other day and fleece washing once a week. What would it hurt? Pictures can be deceiving, but he does look to be gray underneath to me too. This is commonly seen in rescues. Take Lucky Gliders advice. He is a wealth of information.
