The super charged egg smoothie is:

1 hard boiled egg
1/4 cup apple juice
1/4 cup special K cereal

blend it together.

Mine LOVE it.

The sugar glider formula is the pellets you can get at petsmart.

Thanks, everyone. Keep them coming. The purpose of this thread is to let some of the newer people know that they are making the diet thing way harder than it really is. I thought by posting some menus - they will have something to go by and not have to guess.

And not ask about giving totally off the wall food items to their gliders!!!

I dont plan on whomping anyone. Besides, even if I do, Dizzysmom made me give her back the whomping cane...

Tonight the kids got pumpkin seed baby food, 3 raisins each, watermelon, cantelope, scrambled eggs with ground turkey and some BML. They love the eggs with the turkey. Oh, and a little bit of berry Fusion drink. Seems like lately they are not real big on chicken.

Their regular PP mix (applesauce, yogurt, oats, sugar snap peas, carrots, strawberries, cantaloupe, honey dew, and scrambled eggs). Two big pre-made portions for 5 gliders! They also had some yoggies today and tried my boyfriend's rice krispy treat! They really liked that one!

Wow! Such a variety! I haven't had mine a month yet, and didn't realize how many different foods they'd eat! Last night I fed them their BML diet, grapes, about a half of a plum, a little bit of plain yogurt, and mixed veggies(carrots, peas, string beans and corn). They have water in one bottle, and some V-8 fusion(Mango/Peach LIGHT) in their other bottle. I've read that a lot of people feed their suggies melon and papaya, so I'm making a trip to the fruit stand today. I can't wait to try the supercharged egg smoothie!

Well, I finally dug the turkey out of the freezer and baked it; so they had shredded turkey (no butter or salt added), papaya, kiwi, green beans, and some cubed potato chunks I mashed their bml into and poured a little turkey juice over. I have to trick mine into their bml. Mine hate yogurt and cottage cheese :( And water...2 open bowls and one water bottle in each cage. They don't seem to prefer their water bottle.

OK. I took an egg and used a knife to make a small hole in it.. some of the yolk spilled out onto the plate, which is good and helps hold the egg steady... then i pushed some green beans and carrots cut up inside the egg shell, cooked it for a few minutes until it was hot and solidy... then i places cut up grapes around the cooked egg and shell creation, then i drizzled just a tad of honey around on the grapes, and garnished with two raw peanuts.

Thanks this has really helped. I gave mine hard boiled egg with some mixed veggies and apple last night and this morning it was almost all gone. This was the first time she has had this (except for apple) Should I stick with the egg until I see if there is any reaction(like introducing new foods for babies? Also, the baby food, does it have to be a certain kind? And must they have mealworms or is that sometimes a special treat (like when we eat steak.

Mealworms aren't a must at all. They are great for treats and especially for bonding. They're quite fatty so although they have protein, they shouldn't be used as a source for protein nightly. With baby foods, be sure to watch for things like onion, garlic, salt and preservatives. Stay away from those ingredients.

Fed the modified BML I use, frozen friut that I blended up the other night. Scrabbled egg with little corn, peas, carrots, collard greens, celery and cucumber.. Left in the cage the zookeepers and H2O.

Left this morning, eggs and veggies. Fruit mix about 25%. The Modified BML mix gone.

Would you be able to send me the correct BML recipe? You can email me if youlike. I am so glad this post was made. And baby food doesn't have to be organic, just regular Gerbers just watch the ingredients?

Yep. I wouldn't feed it all the time though. Fresh food is always best and they love to pick up their food to eat it. Lately, I've been chopping everything up together and they eat it better than the baby food..plus I can freeze it and use it later if I have too much.

Oh my...word of advice. See my post above re: mixing the bml with potato chunks; and then pouring a bit of the turkey juice (just the juice in the bottom of the pan from baking it) to entice them to eat their bml. It is NOT worth it. This was an enticement and the first time we tried it. While it did coax them into eating about half their bml, they all have runny poo today and that is the only odd thing I did, and unfortunately, they are quite hyper. I have changed clothes 2x and have runny poo where they like to climb...NOT RECOMMENDED unless you don't intend to get them out of their cage the next day to play and intend to sterilize their cage the next day. Maybe some warnings of okay foods to eat that don't cause runny poo are just as helpful as what kinds of food....IIIICKKKKKKK!

edited because my last sentence previously made no sense :)
