Harry is now 11 lbs and Rosie is 8.10lbs. They are both growing like little weeds! Im probably going to be babysitting again this Saturday - and more than likely next Saturday, too. Jim and Jess want to go on a float trip during the day, so Harry and Rosie will come to my house to visit for the first time.
Alan and I are going to babysit again tomorrow!!! I cant wait!!
And next week-end, Jim and Jess are bringing Harry & Rosie here to stay at our house. That will be the first time the babies have been here!! Poor Jim and Jess will have to bring practically everything they own as I dont have any baby things. There just isnt room for 2 of everything!!!

Owen, my sons best friend's baby, didn't make it. It was tough he made it to two months old.
Im so sorry to hear that, Belinda. Ive lost a baby myself, so I know what they are going thru. I dont wish that on anyone - it hurts so badly. The anniversary of Kevin's death was July 28th - 31 years ago. I had a difficult time not crying at work all day that day.
Oh Rita they are so beautiful...They do look just like their parents its crazy!!!! I cant wait to continue to watch them grow it just seems like yesterday they were born!!!
Jim and Jess are doing well with them. I think by the time Jim gets home from work, Jess is ready to turn them over to him! After babysitting them several times, I cant say I blame her!!!
Rosie is very sweet and content and Harry - well, Harry is not! Harry is a little bit of a fuss butt. He is definitely the challenging one of the two. A little attention hog. He doesnt like to sleep much and he just looks for things to get mad and fuss about. He is not happy unless someone is holding him. I tell him every time Im with him he better be glad he's so darned cute!
Rosie is the perfect baby. She only fusses when she wakes up hungry. She takes her bottle like a little lady. When she is awake, she is looking all around with those beautiful blue eyes - cooing and talking the cutest little baby sounds. She is so content and happy all the time.
LOL pesky little boy. I cant blame Jess one bit after a full day with them, Big Mac, the house, etc I would be ready to hand everything over and take a bath lol.
My oldest niece spent her whole first year in my dad's arms and lap from the day she came home from the hospitol she slept there for a month then anytime she was away or napping it was in his arms..well she didnt walk or crawl until she was 13 months old because of it and well now she hates to be held and only loves my mom doesnt love dapa any more LOL
Kids are just interesting as babies you never know what your going to get...Jim and Jess got 1 of each in more ways then one lol.

They are so beautiful! My little niece that was premature is not even 11 lbs yet and she's almost 7 months old now! She's still a little miracle and gorgeous.

OH MY GOSH RITA!!! Harry is just making up for that time of being sick. Rosie IS gonna be a petite thing. Camryn already weighs in right at 10lbs when Christian took her to the pediatrician on Thursday. She has caught up to Rosie..lol
I hope you enjoy your time with your sweet angels. I have had Camryn since Friday evening and she has just been a doll. They are picking her up sometime today.
I havent posted pictures of my little miracle babies in awhile. Look how much they have grown!!!! Harry & Rosie are will be 7 months old on December 4th! Where did the time go????

I just read through this whole post and what miracle babies they are! They have gotten so much bigger and are such beautiful kids! Just look at those gorgeous smiles... Uh oh. I better go before I start getting ideas. My husband's not ready for that yet! LoL.
What I love about being a Grandma is - I cant take them and spoil them and then GIVE THEM BACK!!! I hadnt seen them since before my surgery so getting to see them Thanksgiving Day was just Heaven for me. But I shouldnt have picked them up. Everyone got on me for picking them up - but I didnt listen. So Ive spent the last 2 days in bed on pain meds.
But they were looking at Grandma with those huge smiles. How could I NOT pick them up!!!!
Yes, you want to make certain you are ready to give up the life style you now know in order to have these little ones. They are certainly a handful. Jim and Jess have talked about having another baby - and we keep reminding them that twins run in my family and they very well could have another set of twins!!!
Rita! I just saw that picture when I was scrolling through a thread on the SG side. I came here to start a thread about how beautiful they are! They are growing so quickly!
I have to say I understand that you'd HAVE to pick them up!!!!! How could anyone resist those adorable little faces????
