Today I went to the vet to have my babies checked out and how they are doing. They are both generally healthy, but Zoe had to be put on antibiotics for a UTI. They weren't able to get a urine sample since she already had peed on me (last time I am wearing a white shirt..LOL!) But Dr. W gave me something to give to her and hopefully clean it up. If Zoe is still hissing while urinating after the meds are done, I have to collect a a urine sample so they can do a diagnostics.
I am just happy that Meiko and Zoe were good at the vets office and they both got mealies and of course Zoe ate one, meiko didnt. Zoe was happy to eat both... ;)
Oh of course me being exhausted from the long day, I forgot to close the cage door and Zoe got out. we found her in the paper bag of old newspapers. She can be such a ninja!

I have two suggies Meiko and Zoe (OOP 4/10/10) I am having a hard time bonding with them. Zoe bites and nips alot and she has never drew blood. Meiko is always scared whenever I stand by the cage and hides from me. I rarely able to touch her in or out of the cage. Sometimes she will jump onto me from the open cage door. Then she takes off down the couch and onto the floor. She is not easy to catch! Meiko stopped crabbing at me from inside the pouch, but Often during tent time she would chomp on a toe. I have tried lickies, give em treats, carried them in a pouch(scent blankets are inside of it) and nothing is working.When they nip/bite I PSSST (no response from either) I do tent time every nite offering treats and lickies...one does, the other ignores it. But in the tent they both run and climb like crazy, including all over me. My head is often a landing pad or launch pad. Meiko will jump off the screen onto my hand...i know it doesnt make sense. Also they are both IMPOSSIBLE to either put back into the pouch or cage.
I understand it takes time and patience but whatever I do, nothing happens and its getting frustrating. it seems like bonding is a no go. I am doing my best to interact with them and yet I still feel like they hate me.
