I know how you feel. I also have a wodent wheel for my suggies. They used it for about 2 weeks constantly at night. And now, they're uninterested. I guess they're alot like kids. When it's new, it's their favorite. But after awhile, they get bored. =)

well there are a lot of "plastic" wheels out there. is it called a comfort wheel or a silent spinner wheel? just google it and pictures will come up. i gave my boys one of my old comfort wheels once so that they wouldnt fight over the wodent wheel. they tried to use it mostly just stood in the wheel doing nothing then leaving the wheel to use the wodent wheel. he may not like that wheel or its difficult for him to use. buy him a wodent or a stealth wheel and he may like those better. and you need to get him a cagemate(not just because they do better in pairs or groups but i wont get into that right now you can research/ask on your own about that) gliders will run on the wheel at the same time and have a lot of fun on it. and if he sees another glider using the wheel he will want to do it too. and you will have tons of fun with 2 or more gliders : P are you sure he isnt using it when your asleep? as long as he gets enough out of cage time then dont worry about him not using it and getting fat. and watch his behavior or him over grooming or hurting himself and other signs of depression. maybe he doesnt use his wheel because he is depressed? gliders hide their illnesses well so keep a close eye on him for any odd behaviors.
