Nov 11, 2017 Kinda freaking out Posted by: Itsme13Please only answer if you know for sure ! If a glider bites someone with hiv will my glider contract it or be a carrier of it ?! Nov 6, 2017 I JUST NEED REASURENCE Posted by: JaednHey guys! So I just got my new sugar glider about a week and a half ago. Is going really well and there has been huge improvement but I just have one quick question. So my glider, hazel, will climb all over me when we play in the bathroom. Bear is still a little bit too shy to come out, which I understand, but I was wondering, hazel always bites my fingers even when she's the one climbing on them. She doesn't bite anywhere else. She always draws blood. I'm not super worried or anything but do any of you have any suggestions? Nov 5, 2017 Im buying a sugar glider today!!! HELP!!!!! Posted by: mlmay11I want to know if this person is legit. Im buying from @glidersrus on Instagram. Are they legit? HELP IM BUYING TODAY!!! Nov 2, 2017 Suggie diet Posted by: Jarreguin1625So I am getting Emma and Oliver on Saturday and I want to have their dinners ready to go. I am actually picking them up from the pet glider so I am using Priscilla’s diet but I have a question for anyone using it. The diet has that I can use ground flax seeds or ground chia seeds. But I had read somewhere that it was bad to give a suggie chia seeds. It does say it is optional but very beneficial so has anyone given their sugar gliders chia seeds? Should I incorporate it in their diet? Oct 31, 2017 Sugar Gliders & Radiator Heat Posted by: snlee5711Hi Everyone! I was curious if anyone here who owns sugar gliders, knows anything about radiator heat and the safety with sugar gliders. We've been living in an older apartment since May, but haven't had to worry about the radiators until it's gotten cold recently! Every night, we let our suggies out to play. We have radiators in every single room of our apartment and there's no real way of blocking them off from our gliders. I've looked into radiator covers and they're pretty expensive. I've also looked into DIY radiator covers, but it looks a little to crafty for my woodworking skills.I was wondering if anyone here has suggestions of what to do? Does anybody have sugar gliders and radiator heaters? Has it ever been a problem? Does anybody's sugar gliders just stay away from them because they're too hot? Any information would be helpful! Thank you! Oct 30, 2017 Nervous new mommy to be to two suggies Posted by: Jarreguin1625 Hi to everyone and anyone who is awake! It is one in the morning I have classes in the morning and I can't sleep. Why you ask? Four years ago I learned about sugar gliders and since then I did research and this Saturday after months of planning I am picking up Emma and Oliver. To say I am overly excited is an under statement. I have read, watched videos, asked questions, yet I am still very nervous. I have a large cage filled with fleece and toys and trays, I have their fresh diet recipe and will have it ready for when they come home along with their treats mealworms and calcium, I have their sleeping pouches, the bonding pouch, their vet (on speed dial lol), yet I can't help but feel like I am missing something. I know all suggies are different as I could tell when I went to go meet them and Oliver is an escape artist while Emma was content hanging out on my shoulder while munching on some mealworms so some advice that works for some may not work for others but I would love any advice :) I am looking forward to meeting fellow suggie parents :):) Can Saturday get here already!! Many pictures will be posted that day <3 Oct 25, 2017 is my mamma rejecting her baby joeys Posted by: Andrea.mccleeryive been noticing for a couple days now that the mom and dad will be running around the cage doing their thing and the babies left in the bag they sleep in. i have taken the bag out to see the babies and put the bag back in the cage a couple minutes later. after putting the bag in the cage the mom and dad ran into it. is this a sign of rejection? Oct 14, 2017 Cleaning Posted by: Dominic LooHi, may i know how to make my gliders body keep white ? Cause they always dirty themself everytime in the cage. May i know how ? Sep 19, 2017 Bonded gliders aggressive to cagemate Posted by: Kaitlyn6I bought a trio of sugar gliders maybe 4 months ago. 2 females and 1 unaltered male. They were fine for a while but then the male and one of the females started being aggressive towards the other female. Now that female hides all the time. If she does come out she is shaking. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? I'm afraid they will kill her.
