: Mine wait til we go to bed to get up.
: We trick 'em sometimes......turn out all the lights, go in our bedroom and be quiet for a minute. We can hear them up playing right away!
: If we stay up and wait, it would be 2 or 3 in the morning before they'd come out on their own.
: Same in the morning, if we quietly come out to see them first thing, we get to see some action, but if we get up and around like normal, they just go right to bed.
: These are very tame and spoiled ones too. Sometimes they do come out earlier but it's not their habit.

Strange how gliders differ. My Foster is only up when I'm up, as far as I can tell. As soon as he hears me (even at 3 in the afternoon in full sun) he is up and ready to have an adventure. If I go away, I come back to his cage in 5 minutes and he's asleep. Just like an earlier post, even when I wake up in the middle of the night and check on him, he's always asleep. He only is awake when I'm around. It's odd.... wonder why his nocturnal instinct hasn't kicked in yet!
