Oh, Kim, aren't you a prima donna glider owner! I've had my gliders for years, I know what they like, and that's not being lugged
around every day (they get incredibly cranky if I do). I check on my gliders when I am home all the time, I pet them, talk to them,
snuggle with them, and they love me. They like my attention, but I don't think they really do need two hours of my undivided attention.
They would rather play with eachother and run around exploring then hang out with mom and dad most times. When they want a snuggle
or my attention, they get it. Actually, they probably get more of my attention than they want sometimes!

The two hour rule depends on your glider and your schedule. My gliders are happy, friendly, well adjusted, well cared for, and sweet. They definately are
the best pets I've ever had. I pay plenty of attention to them, but I still believe it does not hurt them if I do not spend the recommended two hours a day with them.
My gliders are not ignored, they only spend 8 hours a day in their cage (while I am asleep) and they are fine. While you do have to adjust your lifestyle to your little one,
they do not have to take over your life to be your best friend.

As for your comment on having a cool pet to show off, gliders are illegal in my state, so I couldn't even show them off if that were the case. Besides, I'm too old for that crap.

So anyway, stop judging, and get over yourself and your "I know best attitude".
