: Hi Everyone! : I was just wondering what everyone that owns a sugarglider, use for a nest box. This is just to satisfy my curiousity and idea about a new nest box. : Thanks in advance. It's going to be interesting to find out. : Austin, TX glider, : Xay So far I have determined that wood products are not a good idea in glider cages. Especially when I put treelimbs in the cages, they urinate all the way down the things, so I have to pull them out, wash them, and leave them out in the sun for a week before reinstallation. I suggest using plastic nesting boxes. My favorite is a small icecream container or anything similar such as a large butter tub or tupperware thing. These allow you to clean with soap and water and reinstall nice and dry in a matter of a minute. It also allows you to always pull off the lid if you need to get to the animals. I do so often. I can also clean the cages during the day, and instead of having 4 animals scurry all over the cage or me, I can just remove the nestbox from its hanging position and put it into a temporary cage.
