Hi all, I have just acquired an adorable little male sugar glider, 8 weeks out of the pouch. I have had him since Sept 23, and at least he no longer "crabs" as soon as I walk by his cage (I named him Taz after the Tasmanian Devil because of that noise!). He is taking treats from me, and will walk up my arm, but when I bring him out of the cage he just tries to make a get away. He also "crabs" whenever I try to wake him up during the day--something I am loath to do because I don't want to scare him. He is eating well and is very active at night, but he doesn't tend to get up until 1 or 2 am. Any hints on how I might be able to make friends, and get him to wake up earlier without annoying him? I'm not planning to get him a companion just yet, as I can spend a lot of time with him. Michelle http://www.geocities.com/gildersm/
