Hello all! Does anyone have any ideas on how to convert adult gliders (3-5 years old) onto Brisky's? I have been debating back and forth whether or not to change them from the fresh fruit diet to brisky's. My main reason behind this is that twice a year we travel for 1-2 weeks to visit my in-laws. During this time I have a glider sitter (always the same lady) come in and care for my gliders. Well, my glider sitter doesn't live as close to me as she used to and I know it would be inconvient for her to have to come everyday (w/ her 2 kids in tow) and cut up fruits, etc. I was thinking it would easier on her because she would know exactly what to feed and how much. She'd just have to put in the Brisky's and change the water daily which takes alot less time. She doesn't handle the gliders because she doesn't feel comfortable handling them. Anyway, I got the Brisky's about a month ago and have been keeping it in the freezer. I've been putting a small amount of Brisky's in with their current diet every night...at first they would nibble on it but lately they've gotten so where they don't even touch it at all. I really don't like the idea of making them go cold turkey to Brisky's. Is it possible to convert them since they've been on the same diet so long?????? I'm open to any and all suggestions :)
thanks :)
