Have you looked into waxworms? I do not know the exact percentages however, they are high in protein, moisture and fat they are also easily digestible. I have gliders that will not eat crickets and gliders who will not eat mealworms but, as yet, I have not run into a single glider that will turn down a waxworm. Even my most finicky and standoffish gliders will accept them from my hand (I have 12). Let me know if you have tried these and if you have any objections to them.

: MEALWORMS:
: Moisture - 61.9%
: Protein - 54.6%
: Fat - 31.4%
: Calcium - .07%
: Phosphorus - .71%
: Energy - 5.35%

: SILKWORMS:
: Moisture - 76.3%
: Protein - 64.7%
: Fat - 20.83%
: Calcium - .21%
: Phosphorus - .54%
: Energy - 5.74%

: sources:Frye and Calvert (1989)Woodson Tenent Laboratories
: Chemical Composition of the mealworm Roots (1978)

: According to these compositions, silkworms are lower in phosphorous and fat, higher in calcium and protein. So they are better for gliders than mealworms.
: Crickets still measure up as the best for gliders (best in the easily obtainable insects).
: Anyone have any comments, special research that says anything otherwise? This info came from glidercentral, by Raechel.
