I own a 1 1/2 year old glider I have had for the past year. She seems to be happy and well bonded even though I sometimes don't have as much time to spend with her as I would like. Recently I read about the self mutilation that can occur when a glider gets lonely.Needless to say this shocked and worried me. What I am wondering is how worried should I be? Is this a common occurence? Should I run out and get another glider to keep her company? Are there any signs to look for before this becomes a problem?
