I read these posts on a daily basis and am aware of so many things that can go wrong so I am always checking my gliders out and always worried that there may be something wrong but I just don't know it. So am always searching for info. But yes, I have noticed something that I feel is unusual with Kayce's pouch. She is about 9-10 months old. I have had her from about 8 weeks. She has been housed with a neutered male since October. She appears very healthy and happy. Good appetite and activity level has not dropped. A little while ago I was checking her out and noticed that one side of her pouch (the skin that opens) looked fatter then the other side. I don't really know how to discribe it. It is not as though she has any lumps in her pouch like she is pregnant. It is the actual skin of the pouch. I posted a question about it and got a response from someone stating their female has the same thing and she took it to her vet and the vet said there was nothing wrong. No one else responded, so I wanted more info. to see if there are "normal" malformations of the pouches. I don't know too much about POUCHES and their functions and what is normal or not. I welcome any and all info. Thank you!!!

: that just doesn't seem right to you? If in any doubt whatso ever, see a vet.. the most common amoung females is mastitus, fungus infections, and yeast infections. Is it a lone female? how long have you had her? how old is she ? Was she caged with a male? Usually someone don't ask questions like this unless they are concerned that something may be wrong..
