Hi!

I'm just beginning to think about getting a pair of gliders. I have heard and take VERY SERIOUSLY the advice to think carefully before making such a committment. I've read everything I can find on the web, am getting a couple books, and will be talking to a nearby breeder soon to see if I can get some contact time with some SG's.

The question I haven't seen an answer to is: how do people with allergies react to SG's? I am allergic to dogs and cats -- not terribly, but enough that I wouldn't want to live in a home with their hair everywhere. Does that mean that I will be allergic to gliders, too? Do they shed much? Probably if I keep them mostly in their room it won't be a big deal, but I was wondering what I'm in for.
