I am not going to get into it here with you here.. You have been a breeder for 8 years.. then why haven't you been the one to answer these same questions time after time after time. If you thought my opinions were sooo bad then why didn't you post your own? I have said time and time again to get other opinions as well, that not all gliders were alike, what works for one doesn't work for another. I don't jump on people constantly that ALREADY have gliders and tell them they should have researched them first, I tel people that are looking to get one to research them. To " GO back and read all the archives as IF they were asking the questions themselves" that way they will have a good idea what to expect from their new glider. There is no reason to sugar coat what the possibilities are with a new glider. How many posts have you answered from people coming in wanting a glider or just getting one and answering it time after time? I answer just about all those questions and i also add that they should read the back archives. If my opinion were not sound and honest, then tell me. Better yet give your own opinion that very well may be different than mine. I push for research.. Gliders should not be bought on a whim, as a fad, or just because they are cute. There are a lot of things a person should consider first. If they already have it then they need to find out what to expect. What is normal. What many people have tried to stop bad behavior. I will always push for research first, but if they have just bought their gliders, and they have no idea what they are doing, they also need to research. Research doesn't stop with just asking a question or with just finding out about generalities, it also means going back and seeing how many people have already been there and done that. I am not the only one on this board that loves the species there are others, there are MANY very good posters. Your opinion is yours and you are entitled to it. Your motives for posting to a post may have a different twist to it. My motives are to help people and let them know they are not alone. I have seen the horror stories, I have seen gliders ignored because the owner was tired of it, I get an average of 30 emails a day from others asking me for the blunt truths. I don't play games. As I said before in another post..you wouldn't think of trying to rebuild an engine without first learning something about it. You wouldn't get into a car and try to drive it on a busy street before you knew what you were doing..Do you have something against researching? Sometimes I come across pretty harsh, not as often as you may want to think. I get to the point, I go into total detail while explaining something so the person really understands what i am trying to explain. Tell me I haven't helpped anyone. Tell me MOST of my posts are not sound. Tell me the people that have gone back and read the past archives haven't learned from them. When you can tell me that, then you can drop me in the mud. Till then I will continue with what i do. Then you answer the posts, give your opinion. Sel your gliders to others with no knowledge of what is expected. But, I am sure you would never do that. There are breeders out there that don't care if the person getting their gliders know anything about them. I was told when I was younger.. everyone is entitled to their own opinion, myself and you included. I slowed down my posting and many of the questions that have been asked time and time again went unanswered.. Why didn't you post then? I get real annoyed at people that hide behind an anonamous post to voice an opinion.. When I am annoyed I am not afraid to say who I am. I have nothing to hide.
