My Sugar Gliders hours are set in stone! They get up around midnight and go to sleep around 8 a.m. I "pouch" my babies for about 8 hours a day - 8 a.m. till about dinnertime, then I transfer them to their nest to give us both a break. My plan is then to spend about an hour or two or "play time" each evening, but I can't get the buggers to want to wake up! Last night I took out their nest and let them loose in the cage to interact with them. They both curled up and went to sleep sitting on a stick! Am I boring?! Well I am, but that's besides the point. My question is, is there any hope to create a new habit of playing around 9 p.m. every night? I have to be bright eyed for work in the morning and staying up till 2 a.m. isn't an option. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.
