Message: You mentioned a week or so ago that "down-ears" could be a sign of depression. Koa and Jako only do this when they sleep. Does sleeping count? Also, we wanted to get a new nesting box, since the one they have is getting to small. I was thinking about one of those clear plastic boxes that they sell at the pet stores (the ones they put the little mice in for feeding to the snakes, they call them lunch boxes, how sad). Or do they need something not so see through? I guess what I am asking is what is the best and easiest to clean. We had a wooden box at first and they got very foul in a hurry. What is good toy for them to put in their cage? They don't seem to play with anything we have put in their, they don't even climb on the wood we have hanging from the cage. Just wanted some ideas of what works for others Thanx tons!
