Hello! I have a male sugar glider OOP and a female sugar glider OOP 10/24/22. They have been together and are wonderful with each other. However, I am worried because I think I saw them in the mating position. No sounds were being made and she did not seem distressed in any way. Do I need to separate them immediately? I do intend to bread them but I had to obtain them rather quickly. I have tried to do as much research as I can but I am always trying to learn more and have read so many different opinions on the matter. Someone had said they bread earlier etc. I got myself confused and just want to make sure I keep them safe. I thought the male wouldn't be sexually mature until 12-15 months. They are both still well under a year old so I wasn't sure of that would be an issue. Please help me get back on the right track! Please be kind I get overwhelmed and overthink and am still a relatively new parent. I have had sugar gliders prior to these but they were male this is my first time having a female and first time having such young babies. Thank you in advance! |
