This product also contains Menadione:

It's even banned for human consumption by the FDA! Not that that isn't enough, but the first five ingredients of the Happy Glider are corn, barley and soy. Yes, I said 5. Corn is twice, soy is twice. Everyone that's done any type of research knows that corn is not good for gliders due to the phosphorous ratio compared to the calcium ratio. It's so backwards, it inhibits the calcium from being absorbed. Corn=backward calcium ratios and fillers. PERIOD. As for soy, that's debatable. I've personally chosen to stay away from it based on facts I've read. People can decide for themselves based on FACT, not OPINION:

What are your vets thoughts on corn, soy and Menadione?

One more thread for thought...

In case you don't bother to read all the links since I've provided a few, the moral of the story on the last one is I also had a "Happy and Healthy" rescue glider until the day he died. The necropsy report concluded he died from irreversible liver damage caused by years of bad diet (before I had him). He was somewhere between 3-4 years old when I got him too. There were no outward signs and no way for me to know. Any guesses on what his diet was? Anyone?

I don't know why, but your links are broken.

You can apply to adopt from any legitimate rescue home. Most of us, myself included, can get gliders to any legal area of the U.S. via railroad or shipping. You do have to apply and you do have to qualify for adoption, so it is best to get started working with the rescue of your choice.

My rescue information can be found here:
http://kingdomkritters.webs.com/

I'm sorry, I don't have the websites for the other great rescues active here right now. I'm very pressed for time, but I know someone will come along and give them to you.

Best of luck finding your little one a friend or two.

Whereas she doesn't have the other websites for the rescues, I do on the very first page =]
