I think the real question here is how much you care about your glider being your best friend. If you don't much care, and just want a fun pet to hang around with and show off, follow the above advice.

If you want a best friend, a loyal and loving and devoted pet, spend your two hours+ with him daily and the rewards will become almost immediately apparant.
