i am a proud new mother of a beautifull baby girl....however......i have one problem.....every time i pick her up and let her climb on me, i get small, red, itchy, swollen bumps on the tops of my hands. I know that the sharpness of the nails are causing them to penitrate my skin, but i am hesitant to trim her nails this soon after getting her because i don't want to stress her out and possibly lengthen the bonding period. I cuddle with her and kiss on her and neither of these things bother me. Its just those SHARP NAILS!! :-) Has anyone else had the same problem, and if so, other than trimming the nails, what did you do to eliminate these unsightly red bumps and the itching. (and in case your wondering, yes, i wash my hands immediately after returning her to her pouch.)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! I hope there is help for this!! I love my baby girl TOO MUCH to give her up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
