As an experiment I have let Pican spend some nights with the two boys. They took to her unexpectedly well. They seemed nice but not so interested in her. Nonetheless, they would all cuddle in the bag together and all was fine. It is possible that they have mated but odds are that they did not.

I’ve received two new males tonight from Linzy in Lewisville. She was moving and didn’t want them anymore. It appeared that she never cleaned the cage or took care of these animals, it was a mess. Both need their nails clipped something awful and the smaller male has a hurt left foot probably by getting it caught in a sleeping sack or something. He is barely using it and I am sure it is causing him pain. The pair get along well and they came with two decent sized cages and one tiny ugly thing and a single wodent wheel which was caked with dried poo. After a serious cleaning on their cage, wheel, and removing some pee soaked items, they really don’t smell much at all compared to the other two I have. The pair were originally purchased from someone in Austin, Tx and Linzy thinks they are 3 years old.

Buddy and Pican mated all night.

Mickey and Minnie were finally picked up and taken by Sandy and family. Mickey was noticeably agitated with so many kids around. I feel bad for him but have hopes that his new family wont kill him. We will miss him. Happy to see Minnie go away and I have a feeling that I will see her again some day.

Mickey and Minnie mated while I had them out one last time in the shower for play.

Put Mickey and Minnie in same cage. Went better than expected. Mickey is a sweetheart of a pet.

Received a fourth sugar today; a 4 year old male rescue from Michael. I named him Mickey and changed the girls name to Minnie.

Sandy's family decided that I could keep Buddy since he and Pican were doing so well.

Sandy delivered Baby to me to keep for awhile to see if an introduced male would allow the two females to live together. I changed his name to Buddy. He was pretty young when delivered, certainly under a year old. Apparently also from Traders Village. Buddy was not patient enough for Minnie’s behavior but he did well with Pican.

Uyen dropped off Mini to me. She is probably from Traders Village.
