I let my gliders run free at night in my bedroom. I just
make sure my closet is closed and all my drawers and
things put away that they can chew, damage, or be hurt on.
They are really good. They bother me occasionally with
their antics but overall just skitter around and have a good time.
Every morning they put themselves to bed in a blanket that
they sleep in during the day on top of their cage. I leave a
nightlight on too so I can see what they are up to. They have
never gotten hurt or into too much trouble. I wouldn't give them
free roam of my whole house though-too much to get into.

I've never really had my gliders hide from me (when they are out
other times than in my bedroom). If I do lose track of them, they seem
to have just wandered off and have found something fun to do, not
really hide. I just have overlooked them.

I had my gliders a long time before I let them out all night-about 2 years,
and I worried about them all night the first few times.
