I think the two hour rule is pushing it. I think that most info just wants to get across that you can't just put
these pets in cages and leave them alone, they need interaction. In my opinion, interaction is both snuggling and playing.
I can only get my gliders to play with me for a couple minutes a night as they run around. But they do come and
check on me every few minutes in their explorations, I think it is a comfort to them, I am their safe place. I do spend
a lot of time with my gliders, most of it is when they are sleeping (they wake up pretty late in the evenings) I check on them
a lot though, talk to them, kiss them, and pet them for a few seconds here and there, and they are fine. They just need to
get used to your smell, know you are there, etc. I don't believe in taking my glider everywhere I go- they stay at home no matter
what. They are both very friendly, play with me, and get plenty of attention. Use your judgement, if you can't spend a hour with him one night,
its not going to kill him.
