You can put a little apple sauce or honey on the tofu if she won't eat it plain. If you are worries about the food thing try hand feeding her juicy fruits in her nest box. What are you using for a nest box. I have a glider that likes to hang out at the bottom of the cage. So I put a sleep sack and a little box in the bottom. It is normal for her to wake up late and sleep early mine did at first now that they are more comfortable they are still up at 7 am waiting for an hour of play time with mom. I would still keep an eye on the bottom of the cage thing and make sure she is warm. Try carring her in a pouch inside your shirt during the day and offer diff fruit through out the day while she is in the pouch. I stressed constantly for the first week I had my girl then I got her sister to keep her company this helped out so much. Good luck. Kristi Hi everyone... I just got my baby sugar glider yesterday, and I have a couple of really important questions to ask. First of all, what do I feed a baby for protein? The breeder said she can eat solid food, but then he also said to feed her lots of fresh soft fruits until she can eat the dry food really well. So if I still need to be feeding her soft foods, can she eat crickets or mealworms? If she can't, what should I give her for protein? The breeder also told me that as long as I feed her the right foods (I know what they're supposed to eat) then I don't need to give her any vitamin supplements. Is this true? And last, she sleeps A LOT. I'm a little worried about her, but I probably shouldn't be. Human babies do a lot more sleeping than adults, so why should a glider be different? She slept ALLL day (of course) and didn't wake up until around 10 or 10:30. Then she went back to sleep around 2:30 a.m. Is this normal? I'm afraid she may be sick. Also, when I went to get her out of her cage this morning, she was sleeping on the bottom of the cage, instead of in her nest. I'm not even sure if she ate anything yesterday. I'm not sure if this is normal or not, so if someone could please answer some of my questions, it would really be helpful. Thanks a lot, everyone! **crossing fingers for quick responses**
