You are doing fine. The crabbing will continue until he feels safe in his new surrounding and with you. As hard as it may be try not to open the pouch and "SHOW him to others just yet. Keep the people to a bare minimum until bonding has started. Rub the pouch on the outside OFTEN. EVERYTIME you look into the pouch give him a treat. Talk with him often. You are doing fine, the fact he stays with you shows that you too will get along just fine. It will take time however, So be patient. Whatever you do don't let him know you are afraid of him.
