Let me see if I got this right.. You already have a 9 month old male glider. Do you have the female yet? if so, 1. Is she pregged with another males joey? 2. Do the two of them get along yet? 3. Are they in the same cage yet? These are important questions to your questions. Also I believe in my heart that (I may be wrong here) That the family will all get along fine once the males are neutered. As long as they are all of the same family. If you were asking if your male and your female are paired can you add more to them outside of the family ? I am going to have to say that is not an easy thing to do. Males will still defend their territory against other males as some females will defend their mates from other females. If raised as a family it is much easier but even then sometimes there are problems. If the female is carrying another males joeys it is very possible that your male may reject them. Most male gliders don't make a very good adoptive dad. (I have heard too many times of the adoptive dad killing the step-joeys) As far as the neutering is concerned once they are neutered they will still love their mate as much as before and sometimes more. Do they have psycological problems due to the neutering.. nah I don't think so. Once they love a mate they will love it regardless, to them sex isn't everything, they would rather play and romp (mine hug often..tooo cute..) The bald spots (2 of them 1 on chest and 1 on head) are actually scent glands. The males actually use them to tranfer their hormonal smells on things they love. So when they are neutered they are no longer producing those hormones, thus no need for the glands. I hoped this helps but you need to give us a bit more info when asking questions such as this. I don't know whether you have the female or not (you didn't mention her age) or if you are thinking of getting one.. or if you have one in mind that is with joeys in the pouch. I wished I could help you more but I can only work with what you give me as far as info.. sorry..
